OekoBlog is a Danish NGO focusing on food, consumption, environment and sustainability. Working through consumer information and political advocacy. Additionally OekoBlog engages more broadly in external projects and campaigns.
OekoBlog was founded in 2020 by Klaus Jensen and Kenneth Ramussen who both have many years of experience as Campaign Manager and Policy Officer working for the Danish NGO Aktive Forbrugere. Engaging in topics like food safety, textiles, chemicals in consumer products, consumer rights, marketing and social sustainability.
OkoBlog has extensive experience and skills in:
– Running information and Social Media campaigns
– Organizing conferences and seminars
– Developing educational materials
– Media contact, appearance, briefings, etc.
– Organizing events and campaigns.
– Research, reports and briefing papers.
– Advocacy of the political system in Denmark and the EU

EuroJune Network
OekoBlog is engaged in European projects as part of the agency ProPager’s EuroJune Network. Klaus Jensen and Kenneth Rasmussen were responsible for participation in EuroJune projects when working for the Aktive Forbrugere. I 2021 OekoBlog has replaced Aktive Forbrugere in the EuroJeune network.
As part of the EuroJune Network OekoBlog in 2022 were co-organisers of the 8th Annual Energy Infrastructure Forum in Copenhagen in collaboration with Propager, The European Commission and The Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities.

Ukraine
OekoBlog are in 2023/2024 planning and executing a campaign for the Danish NGO ‘Alviss’. The campaign focuses on companies that post the full scale invasion of Ukraine on 24. February 2022, has insisted on retaining a significant presence and production in Russia. This through Social Media activities, critical dialogue and other initiatives.
OekoBlog also works for the Danish NGO Freedom for Ukraine (Frihed for Ukraine) by handling website updates, webshop, co-organising events and writing articles for the website and social media.
Freedom for Ukraine supports the Ukrainian soldiers with non-lethal aid and equipment in their fight against Russian aggression. Freedom for Ukraine also works to inform people about the war in Ukraine through daily updates and reports from the front and social media activity.
